I'M not willing to give it my time.
Sometimes people have valid reasons for not giving their dream the time it takes to succeed. A lot of people have to work ay there job more than 40 hrs. a week,Maby they are a single parent and they have to spend time taking care of the kids, or someone in the family is Ill and needs a lot of time for there needs. These are all very strong reasons why you may have to put off your dream for a little while. The people that have these challenges are not the people i am addressing in this article.
The people I am talking to are the ones that just have to go to this concert,movie,party,football game watch that favorite tv show. If you miss these things is your world going to end? NO. In a couple of days you won't even remember that you didn't do whatever it was that you missed.
The first rule of life is everything involves time.
You didn't instantly know everything and have everything when you were born. It took time for you to learn to crawl,walk,talk,it took at least 12 years for you to get a high school diploma. In order for you to learn to crawl and walk you had to want to get from one place to another and be willing to spend TIME learning and practicing until you could finally do it. You didn't let anything keep you from your goal and you were rewarded by being able to not just crawl bu you can walk,run,dance,talk sing whistle, The point is when you were willing to take the time to learn the first step the rest came easier, you were rewarded with much more that you started out to learn.
The second rule of life is You can choose what you want to do with your life.
You can have a dream of something you want to be or do but if you don't spend the time learning how to accomplish that dream, it will never come to pass. There is another part to this equation if you spend the time to learn how to accomplish your dream and don't take time to actually put what you learned into practice you will still not realize your dream. What i am saying here is you have to be willing to invest whatever time it takes to complete your dream. You can't just spend a little time learning what you need and then start playing around with other things.
Here is a shocker for you, Money can't buy time.
Every time you have a birthday you are a year closer to your death. I didn't say that to scare you but it is the truth. When you are young you don't think about how much time you have to accomplish whatever you are going to do. When both of your parents die you suddenly realize you are the older generation now. Then a little later the Insurance company's won't sell you life insurance, you know time is running out and what have you accomplished with the time you were given?
I don't want to end this article on a depressing note so i will tell you that it is possible to change you can start using the time you have wisely and accomplish your dream so start today don't let your dream slip away. GO FOR IT.
