Anxiousness and You
Anxiousness is only created and further perpetuated if your mind is fragmented. For example, if I desire to work on a computer document but also require starting a fire but don't feel like doing it; I will do the fire but all the while I will be thinking of doing the computer file. All the time from doing the fire until I get to the document will be anxious moments. Another example is talking, if you are always thinking of the end of the talk, even before it starts, you will be anxious until it is finished. It is a perfect example of being focused on the destination instead of the journey. If you focus solely on the destination, you will always miss out on the journey and never be in a relaxed and joyous state. Instead, if you change your focus continually to the task at hand, at that very moment and focus your intent and attention on just that, then you will NEVER be anxious and will more thoroughly enjoy the task and accomplish it more quickly. If you find something of joy and happiness in the task at hand, no matter how small then you will be able to hold your attention more easily with no fragmented thoughts. Happiness and excitement is the glue that binds your attention to it so to say. Also if you anticipate something happening and it does not happen for some time, then you will be anxious up to the point of it happening. So that is why it is best to be unattached to the outcome of things and of things in general. Just let things flow without ever rushing them. Rushing is equal to anxiousness to get to a goal that would be more successful and rewarding if allowed coming of its own accord and time. When you are anxious, it seems, that the end goal, when reached, is never the way you envisioned it, good or bad. This is most likely because you never afforded yourself enough time to fully manifest it in the highest way due to you being so anxious and worried. By always being anxious there is not much time for anything else let alone success, happiness, joy and love of yourself and others. To learn more about relieving anxiousness visit
